A welcome to addition to our 'flock' of luxury accommodation this year has been the 'Lambing Shed', a large and airy rustic kitchen diner. Your home away from home, it provides everything you could need to enhance your stay. The hand built kitchen is fitted with a tumble dryer and a cooking range for you to prepare the perfect breakfast, lunch or dinner. Continental breakfasts are available to add to your booking or you are welcome to bring your own.
For the budding masterchefs, we have an outdoor pizza oven to cook their fabulous creations in and wow fellow diners. The dining area is set out into 3 individual dining areas, each with its own pots & pans.
Whether you're a group of friends or a couple, after a long day out enjoying yourself, you can light the log burner and relax while enjoying the roaring fire. All in all the perfect addition to your glamping experience.

Weddings
Looking for a wedding venue that’s not your standard hotel or country house? West Hale Gate Farm is the perfect venue for a fun filled wedding day, set on a working farm in the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds. ‘The Lambing Shed’ is our purpose built venue, which with the addition of a marquee, provides a venue for up to 100 seated guests. We are a DIY venue, so you have a blank canvas, and the freedom to choose your own suppliers, making your day unique and personal to you. We are happy to provide a list of marquee companies, caterers, florists etc. and can be available for deliveries and set up/break down.
Exclusive use of the site is for a 48 hour period, 12 noon on the day before the wedding, until 12 noon the following day. Price is upon application and includes the use of the Lambing Shed, bar and our 3 luxury shepherd’s huts, including breakfast for six people. The bride and groom can stay in the lovely huts themselves, or reserve them for family and friends.
Please note: The Lambing Shed is available for all celebrations, Christenings, Birthday Parties, Dinners etc, subject to the terms outlined above.
